School bookings only. Tudors (KS2) Join us at the Hall for an immersive Tudor experience. Children will be dressed in Tudor Costumes and take on the roles of the household. They will learn about the Tudors lived, what their homes were like and how they celebrated. The class will take part in a mock Tudor Feast and take part in some Tudor Dancing and Games. Victorians (KS2) Although built in the Middle Ages, the Hall was renovated and extended during the Victorian Era. This workshop looks at what life was like for children during Victorian times, looking at school, jobs and a Victorian Household. This is another immersive workshop with our Teacher/Housekeeper who can be VERY strict, the children will also have a chance to dress in traditional costume. Both of the above are aimed at KS2 but can be tweaked to accommodate Year 2 classes. Please note all workshops should last approximately 1.5 hours and are scheduled to start at 10.15 am for a morning session and 1pm for an afternoon session but these times can be negotiated, please let us know at the time of booking if you would prefer a different start time.
